Triangles, lots and lots of them

Short post, but an update of what I'm up to. Today I started on the Triangle Quilt. I've made 4 strips of 32 triangles each. Many more to go. My guess is I'll get another two or three done tonight. They're very easy to put together, just monotonous. But this is what Netflix in the background is for (can we say watching every episode of Star Trek: DS9).

  1. I had just pulled this colour combination from my stash and then saw your wip. I LOVE IT. I can not wait to put my quilt together now. Thanks for the inspirational boost.

    1. This color combo came from getting fat quarters of the architextures sketch in the orange, raspberry, and black then pulling the other two prints in each color from my stash. I'm liking it a lot so far.

  2. Love the orange (and the rest of the colors, but the orange makes it so eye catching). It'll look great when done. I've been "watching" Dr. Who while quilting lately. Netflix is great.

    1. Thanks! This definitely branches out from my typical color schemes which are often in the cool spectrum.

  3. I'm making a triangle quilt currently too (similar colors, even!) and we're in the 4th season of DS9 (via amazon prime)! Great minds think alike!

    1. I appreciate how many quilters out there are also nerds and into sci-fi. So far I'm enjoying this triangle quilt, but there are many seams to go. So many seams - so repetetive.

  4. These look great! I am pressing my seams open as I go, which is taking way too long!! Love the colors here!! :)
